Interesse als Motor und Folge der Sozialisation

Zusammenfassung: Ausgehend von der These, dass Interessen sowohl Voraussetzungen als auch Folgen von Sozialisierungs- bzw. Entwicklungsprozessen sein können, wird anhand mehrerer Retro­spektivuntersuchungen dargestellt, welche Dynamik allgemeine Interessen in der zweiten Lebensde­kade haben können. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Veränderungen von Musikinteressen, Interesse an Poli­tik/Wirtschaft/Finanzen, Interesse an Recht/Gerechtigkeit und an Erleben/Verhalten von Menschen. Subjektive Theorien von Studierenden über mögliche Determinanten der eigenen Interessen bilden den Abschluss des Beitrages.

Interests as causes and as consequences of socialization

Summary: Referring to the hypothesis that interests may be causes and consequences of the process of socialization several results of retrospective-investigations are reported. The results of these in­vestigations of students show the dynamics of the development of interests during the second decade of life. The focus of the investigations were changes of interests with respect to music, to poli­tics/economics, to justice, and to human behavior. Students also were asked about their theories of deter­minants of interest development.
